Mindset is interested in finding new solutions to the current gridlock in drug development, access and distribution in the developed and the developing world through the creation of a pharma innovation project. This global health initiative will focus on innovative solutions in three key areas: research, financing structures and shifting public perception. Overall objectives of the initiative include identifying how and why the system is stuck, while outlining various social innovations that can foster greater economic development and find new business approached solutions. Mindset is supporting The Centre for Sustainability and Social Innovation at The University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business for research in this area.
